Our DJ contest is now open for you! Details below.

We love to give upcoming DJ’s a chance to play on a big stage. Last year Tatjana won our contest!


Do you want to open the TRANCEHEAVEN stage on March 14th 2026? 


This what you need to do:

1. Record a DJ set between 25 to 30 minutes and upload it on Soundcloud, make it a public post and use our name (TRANCEHEAVEN) in there.

Be aware off the following:

  • You will play the opening set, so take into account that you will not play tracks of 138/142 bpm.
  • We are into uplifting and vocal trance! So no other genres.


2. Make a post about your DJ contest participation on all your social media channels. At least Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. If you don’t have them, then this is the time to create them. And offcourse tag us! 


3. Tell us why you think you should be picked for TRANCEHEAVEN!

We love to hear your story, your journey within the beautiful world of trance.


4. Tell us how you market yourself and how you will make sure that all your friends will be there when you start our event!


A little explanation about why number 4 is so important. These days social media is very important for any DJ to market him/herself. 


Being a good DJ-ing is not enough these days!


For a promotor it is important that the DJ’s who are performing, that they market themselves very well and bring their fans. And social media is one of the most important marketing tools. 


Should you have to sell 50 tickets to play at an event? No…

That’s where we come in. The promotor’s job is to sell tickets, not the DJ.


But a promotor (and we) will only book you when he/she thinks that booking this (upcoming) DJ will create buzz around the event. It is as simple as that!


How will the process go:

  1. Send all asked to djcontest@tranceheaven.nl before September 5th.
  2. We will pick the best contestants and post them on our socials.
  3. On September 29th we will reveal the winner.


Only send the link of your soundcloud, don’t send the whole file.

When you participate you are giving permission that we can use your name, DJ name and soundrecording of your set on our socials.
